#PeakCycleFest Audax Rides 100k and 160k

Looking towards Crich

Looking towards Crich

‘AN AMBER GAMBOL’: 100k or ‘AMBER AND GREEN’: 160k
The 100 kilometre route is common to both rides, taking you through the lanes of east Derbyshire and north Nottinghamshire to D.H.Lawrence territory at Teversal. From here it swings westwards to the lower Amber valley and the hilltop village of Crich.

Here the two routes diverge, with an extra loop for the 100 milers taking them through Wirksworth and Tissington to Ashbourne and back via Millington Green. The homeward leg for both routes then heads north from Crich, exploring upper parts of the Amber valley around Ashover, before following the ridge road across Beeley Moor and East Moor on its way back to Sheffield.

With great cafe controls at Teversal, Crich and Ashbourne, and super grub at the end, you’re sure to keep your energy levels topped up and have time for some banter with other riders.
