Tuesday the 10th of June places available for a walk starting from the beautiful Chatsworth House, first stop is across the bridge to Edensor village with time to admire the houses, from here we will enter the parkland to steadily climb to New Piece Wood for probably the best view of the house and hopefully some dear, through the wood to descend to Calton Houses then to Calton Lees, crossing to join the river past the old mill back to the house. You can end the walk here with a visit to the house and gardens. The walk will continue to follow the river to Baslow for the climb to Baslow Edge, fantastic views all around from here with Wellington’s Monument and the Eagle Stone, a descent to cross the valley and climb steadily to Birchen Edge with Nelson’s Monument and the Three Ships, descend to cross the road into the estate again to emerge at the Hunting Tower via Dobb Edge, admire the views before the steep descent via the stone steps back to the house for a well earned tea and cake. Starting at 9 am for full walk or 11 am for second section. To book this walk call Mick on 07710192399 or Email to mick200067@hotmail.co.uk
