Friday 13th June Places available for a 10 mile circular walk starting from Edale to follow the Pennine Way round to Upper Booth, following the Pennine Way up the valley to climb the steep Jacob’s Ladder then the Swine’s Back and Edale Rocks to the highest point on Kinder Low, 633m, from here we follow the western edge of the plateau with stunning views to the Kinder Downfall where the River Kinder falls dramatically over the rocks on it’s way to the reservoir far below, here we leave the Pennine Way to follow the old route through the Kinder Gates and across the open moorland to the top of Grindsbrook Clough, here is the steep rocky descent with the towering edges above forming a wonderful skyline, after the steep descent the ground becomes easier for the last section back into Edale for a well earned drink. This is a strenuous but very rewarding walk. To book or for more information call Mick on 07710192399 or Email to mick200067@hotmail.co.uk
