Have you ever marvelled at the beautiful landscapes of The Peak District and wondered how they were created?
Peak Walking Adventures is very excited to be able to offer you the chance to join a full day guided walk in the stunning Castleton area with professional geologist Dr Stephen Corfield and walking guide Cath Lee. During the walk we will take an imaginary trip back in time to explore a shallow tropical lagoon and deep water sediments, searching for fossil corals along the way. We will also discover evidence of minerals that once provided wealth for the area, plus an exhumed oil accumulation!
Places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Further information and bookings
